Happy Birthday Kathy! This was kind of fun to paint, but I'm going to try Golden's Open Thinner to see if it'll help with blending. I've heard some rave reviews about it and can't wait to see what it can do on my next portrait. There's always something new calling me!

very nice! love it an i bet your friend does too. i am afraid to try to paint anything in acrylic b/c of the blending issue- too used to working in oils...
Thanks Marianne. Blending is an issue with acrylic and lately I've fallen back in love with oil after years away. Something about that smell, too!
