Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase

While futilely attempting to gain some inspiration and make a stab at some art/painting/drawing/anything, I came across this marvelous video. It's a must see. Done by Joan Gratz in 1992, "Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase" is a clay animation video which won an Oscar for best animated short film. It's hard to believe this is done in clay and it's totally mesmerizing watching one great work of art morph into another--and a good art history quiz. Make sure you view full screen for the best effect and turn up the sound. It's fantastic.
